A 1930 code last overhauled in 1974, rebuilt to protect the town's character while addressing sea-level rise and redevelopment pressure. Context-based sub-areas replaced one-size-fits-all standards.
Adopted in 2023. Calibrated standards along the Maple Avenue corridor, objective findings in place of discretionary steps, and a code that residents can actually read.

Sean Suder and Danville Planning Director Renee Burton presented CODE Danville at the APA Virginia conference in Danville. ZoneCo rewrote the city's zoning code in under twelve months and under budget to implement PLAN Danville.
Powell City Council adopted a new zoning code with ZoneCo as lead consultant. The growing Columbus suburb can now grow with confidence, within a vision for a strong walkable center and context-sensitive development.
ZoneCo said goodbye to summer co-ops Aidyn Kinney and Jackson Hannah. Like all of our co-ops from the University of Cincinnati's DAAP, they were an excellent addition to the team.
