ZoneCo has an immediate need for a zoning code writer.
ZoneCo, LLC is a leading zoning code consulting firm based in Cincinnati. Founded in 2020 by former Cincinnati Chief Counsel for Land Use and Planning Sean S. Suder, ZoneCo crafts custom tailored, clear, consistent, user-friendly, equitable, and defensible zoning codes that advance a community’s planning vision. The firm is currently working is cities, counties, and townships around Ohio and in more than a dozen other states around the country. ZoneCo is seeking a planning professional with at least five years of experience working with zoning codes. Some local government experience is desired.
The position is primarily located in the firm’s Over-the-Rhine office. Partial remote work is a possibility. Salary is commensurate with experience but ranges between $75,000 and $95,000, with an opportunity for performance bonuses. A willingness to travel is required. The firm offers health, dental, eye, and life insurance. An annual stipend for continuing education is also provided.
