One of the most common concerns we hear from planners and city managers is the lack of training for their planning and zoning boards and commissions. Book a half-day or full-day session with ZoneCo CEO and Founder, Ohio lawyer and city planner Sean S. Suder, Esq.
The sessions
- Half-day training, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in person. $299 per person, 12 persons maximum.
- Full-day training, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in person, lunch included. $495 per person, 12 persons maximum.
What's covered
Curricula are designed specifically for zoning boards and planning commissions. Topics include Ohio land use law, ethics, public records and open meetings, rules of procedure, how to run a hearing, and how to make findings that hold up on appeal. Trainings are also available in Kentucky on request, and we can tailor a session to your community's own code.
Where
All trainings take place at ZoneCo's Over-the-Rhine training center, in our offices at 1502 Vine Street, Cincinnati. See the Ideation Center for the space. Group sessions at your city hall can be arranged for larger boards.
